London to the ground till the British give it up
This would be the turning point a mistake
That would give the RAF time to rebuild and re-up
RAF would again take to the sky knowing London is the target they would defend with their might
Unit after unit joined the defensive in the air The Luftwaffe was astonished at the number of them there
Cause they thought they had crushed the RAF but they were wrong
In a panic many bombers dropped their loads just to run
Ultimately Germany gave up this battle attrition
Victory for the British in the skies over Britain
